<br /> SPECIAL PROPERTY USE PERMIT NO. 6-81
<br /> SNOHOMISH COUNTY JAIL AND
<br /> WORK RELEASE FACILITY
<br /> WHEREAS, application was made for a Special Property Use Permit by the
<br /> Snohomish County Public Works Department to allow construction of a new jail at
<br /> 3002-3018 Lombard and work release facility at 3015 Oakes, and
<br /> WHEREAS, on August 11, 1982, the City of Everett approved a Special
<br /> Property Use Permit with 24 conditions to allow construction of a new County jail
<br /> and County work release facility on the block bounded by Oakes, Lombard, Pacific,
<br /> and Wall, and
<br /> WHEREAS, one of the 24 conditions imposed required that when Snohomish
<br /> County Public Works Department received budgetary approval for sewer upgrading,
<br /> interceptor fees, sidewalk improvements, easement and drainage detention fund
<br /> contributions, they were to apply for a hearing on these items, and
<br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the City of Everett Hearing
<br /> Examiner on January 6, 1983, at 2:00 P. M., in the City Council Chambers, City
<br /> Hall, at Wetmore and Wall, and
<br /> WHEREAS, on January 17, 1983, the Hearing Examiner made findings,
<br /> conclusions, and recommendations which are hereby attached, (as on file in the City
<br /> Clerk's Office)
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Everett City Council hereby
<br /> adopts the Hearing Examiner's findings, conclusions and recommendations, as amended.
