1 RESOLUTION NO. a a a. / <br /> 2 <br /> 3 A RESOLUTION authorizing the Everett Police Department to offer a <br /> 4 reward for information leading to the recovery of all stolen <br /> property and/or the arrest and conviction of persons alleged to <br /> 5 have illegally broken and entered the City Animal Shelter. <br /> 6 <br /> 7 WHEREAS, on January 9, 1983, the City of Everett Animal Shelter was illegally <br /> 8 broken into and property of the City was stolen; and <br /> 9 WHEREAS, the Everett Police Department does not currently have sufficient <br /> 10 information leading to any suspects of the crime committed; and <br /> 11 WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds it is within its police powers to offer <br /> 12 a cash reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person(s) who <br /> commit violations of City criminal offenses; <br /> 13 <br /> 14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE EVERETT CITY COUNCIL as <br /> 15 follows: <br /> 16 That the Everett Police Department in conjuction with the City Animal Shelter <br /> 17 is hereby authorized to offer a cash reward not to exceed $300.00, for information <br /> 18 leading to the arrest and conviction of any person(s) who broke and entered into the <br /> 19 Animal Shelter on or about January 9, 1983, and/or the recovery of all stolen property <br /> 20 from the Everett Animal Shelter. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 <br /> 23 <br /> 24 4 �/ <br /> Co ilm n Introducing Resolution <br /> 25 <br /> 26 <br /> Passed and Approved this %g day of�,uui9--e y , 1983. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 <br /> 29 ''' 7- - <br /> Council President <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
