RESOLUTION NO. -% `/ <br /> A RESOLUTION amending the <br /> Comprehensive Plan of the City of Everett <br /> as provided for by Everett Municipal Code <br /> Title 2, Section 20 Subsection 120, to encompass <br /> an area south of Kasch Park to 100th Street Southwest <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that on July 13, 1982, the Planning <br /> Commission held a public hearing regarding establishing the Comprehensive Plan <br /> designation for the hereinafter described property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Comprehensive Plan designation <br /> for the described property is located near Paine Field Airport and impacted by <br /> aviation activity; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Snohomish County's Paine Field Area Draft Comprehensive <br /> Plan identifies the area for Industrial Park/Light Industrial uses; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds, after reviewing, Planning Commission <br /> recommendations at public hearings on July 28, 1982, and September 1, 1982, as <br /> required by R. C. W. 35.13.170, that Planned Industrial District (P.I.D.) land uses <br /> with the preservation of open spaces of areas essential for the natural drainage of <br /> Swamp Creek are compatible with adjacent airport activity and the surrounding <br /> community; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that a Notice of Intention to Annex to the <br /> City of Everett for the property is pending before the Snohomish County Boundary <br /> Review Board; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that State Law requires that a <br /> Comprehensive Plan land use designation be established for areas annexed to the <br /> City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Comprehensive Plan designation <br /> hereafter set forth are in the best interest of the City of Everett. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that: <br /> 1. The Comprehensive Plan designation of Planned Industrial District (P.I.D.) for <br /> the area shown on the attached "Vicinity Map", is hereby adopted for the <br /> following described property: See attached Legal Description". <br /> 2. The Comprehensive Plan designation of Planned Industrial District uses shall <br /> be subject to the criteria performance standards, and policies outlined in the <br /> attached Planning Commission Recommendations. <br /> 3. The Official Map in the Planning Department of the City of Everett shall <br /> upon passage of this Resolution and annexation of the property to the City of <br /> Everett, be amended as hereinabove provided. <br /> Councilman Intr u e lution <br /> Passed and Approved this 2 I'day of J � , 1982. <br /> President <br />
