Everett's overall average household size was 2.40 while the average household size for <br />all of Snohomish County was 2.61. Everett's average household size has held constant since <br />1980, while that of the rest of Snohomish County had declined over this time frame. The median household income for Everett was $48,410, while for all of Snohomish <br />County was about $67,777. Among all cities in the county, only Lynnwood ($47,701) and <br />Darrington ($34,063) had a lower median household income that Everett. (2013 Housing <br />Characteristics and Needs Report, ACS 2011 5 Year Estimates) <br />7. From 2008 to 2012, approximately 46% of all households in Everett were considered to <br />be cost burdened. (US Census, ACS 2012 5 Year Estimates) <br />8. 26% of Everett's total households were considered to be extremely low income, earning <br />less than 30% of Area Median Income (AMI) for Snohomish County. 20% were considered very <br />low income, earning 30 to 50% of AMI. 23% were considered low income, earning 50 to 80% <br />of AMI. 7% were considered moderate income, earning 80 to 95% of AMI.
