EVERETT COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />TRANSIT <br />As a result of population and employment increase, transit trips are expected to grow. Figure 20 shows the <br />forecast growth in transit trips from 2015 to 2035. Much of the growth will be centered around the light rail <br />corridor. With this major investment in regional transit infrastructure, transit trips will grow at a faster rate than <br />population, employment, or auto trips.
