The City maintains an
active program through the City's Solid Waste Management Utility and continues to implement
programs related to recycling, waste reduction, waste prevention, and composting in coordination
with Snohomish County and others.
Since 1993, The City of Everett has operated comprehensive internal recycling programs that have
reduced three metric tons of CO2e per year.
