Zoning Code Text <br />Some of the policies contained in the Land Use Element will require revisions to the zoning <br />code if the city is to realize the desired future land use pattern for the city. The Official Zoning <br />Map is part of the zoning code and will be amended to bring the zoning classifications into <br />consistency with the land use designations of the Land Use Map. As policies are amended or <br />added to the Land Use Element text, or revisions made to the Land Use Map, the zoning code <br />should be amended as needed to promote the desired land use pattern. Zoning code standards <br />should also be reevaluated from time to time and adjusted if the City finds it necessary to be <br />more assertive or proactive in realizing its land use goals.
