The ceiling detail should show a 2 inch angle at the wall,per the Northwfst Ceiling Bureau <br /> details on document 401. <br /> Response: The 2" wall angle is noted in detail 10/A3.1. A note clarifying the width of the wall <br /> runner is added to detail to 5/A3.1. <br /> 2. Safety glazing should be shown on all door and window elevations as required by IBC section <br /> 2406.4. <br /> / Response: Tempered Glass designation is added to all doors with glazing(Opening Schedule, <br /> A3.1).A note is also added allowing laminated safety glazing in lieu of tempered glass. Glazing <br /> within 12"of doors is also noted(see 1/A2.1).Tempered glazing at the new storefront entry is <br /> noted on the Door and Frame type <br /> Accessibility <br /> 1. The toilet rooms should have a clear floor space and turning space shown which does not overlap <br /> / the entry door swing,per ICC-A117.1-2009 sections 603.2.1 and 603.2.2. <br /> Response: The required turning space is shown by 5' diameter circles in the enlarged plan <br /> 29/A3.2.ICC-A117.1-2009 section 603.2.1 requires the turning space. Section 603.2.2 prohibits <br /> doors swings into the"clear floor space or clearance for any fixture"but not into the turning <br /> space.ICC-Al 17.1-2009 section 304.4 states, "Unless otherwise specified,doors shall be <br /> permitted to swing into turning spaces,"allowing the doors in the restrooms to swing into the <br /> turning space.The restroom plans are not changed. <br /> Energy <br /> 1. Previous comment: For permit B1701-027,please indicate the prescriptive method of building <br /> envelope compliance on sheet G1.1, to include detailed R-Values of new or modified exterior <br /> walls, roof-ceiling cavities, man-doors and garage doors,per WSEC section C402.1. <br /> a.
