These comments <br /> address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments <br /> (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the (2006 International Building Code,) <br /> (2006 International Residential Code,) as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington <br /> State Energy Code 2006 Edition, and adopted by the City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br /> Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. <br /> I. List the square footage for all living space per floor, decks, and porches. <br /> 2. Indicate all materials used on elevations including roofing, siding, trim, veneers, etc. <br /> 3. Note and specify all roof slopes. <br /> 4. Provide adequate attic ventilation; state on plans the required and the provided net free <br /> ventilating area. Detail and note on the plans the location of roof ventilation. <br /> 5. Note and specify a complete roofing system. Specify roofing type and grade, valley <br /> flashing material, underlayment required and method of installation and attachment of <br /> roofing materials required by IRC R905. <br /> 6. Proved section drawings for each different type of construction specific to this structure. <br /> Cross sections shall be cross-referenced to the floor plan and the framing plans, including <br /> but not limited to: <br /> a. Ledger connection at deck, with flashing and attachment. <br /> b. Dormer construction at front elevation. <br /> c. Rafter connections at floor and top plate. <br /> d. Section at wall between existing basement and addition. <br /> e. Section at pony wall at addition(provide engineering if concrete retaining wall <br /> is present). <br /> f. State sections (interior and exterior) for rise, run, handrail, width, head room, <br /> etc. <br /> 7.
