The parking legend on sheet A0.2 indicates a van accessible parking area, but the <br /> dimensions are not shown on sheet A1.0, and the scale shown on the drawings does not <br /> match the scale of the plan. A van accessible parking space requires 16 feet of width and <br /> specific signage, per the standard ICC A117.1-2009 sections 502.2, 502.4.2, and 502.7. <br /> AW/Response: <br /> Dimensions have been added to the van accessible parking area. The size of the <br /> existing parking space is 16 feet wide. <br /> c. The legend on sheet A0.2 indicates 49 spaces, but the sheet A1.0 indicates 74 spaces. <br /> Some of these spaces appear to be servicing another building, but now have a route to the <br /> CHC building via a new ramp. <br /> AW/Response: <br /> Parking counts on sheet A0.2 have been updated to reflect the total existing parking <br /> stalls on parcels 'A'and '8'. A shared parking agreement exists with adjacent parcel <br /> 'B". Sheet A1.1 has been added to show all parking located on this lot. <br /> d. A minimum of three accessible parking spaces would be required based on the number of <br /> parking spaces shown, per IBC Table 1106.1. <br /> AW/Response: <br /> With the parking agreement, there are a total of 193 parking stalls and 8 accessible <br /> parking spaces provided, two of which are van stalls. <br /> e. Signage at the existing ADA parking stalls may not be at the correct height. <br /> AW/Response: <br /> A note has been added to indicate that the signage shall be raised as necessary to <br /> meet the current mounting height of 5'-0"to bottom of sign. <br /> f. Provide documentation that one of the new water dispensers will be meet the accessible <br /> reach requirements. <br /> AW/Response: <br /> The water dispensers have been deleted and are no longer part of the project. <br /> Note: CHC has changed and reduced the scope of the project. All changes have been made to the <br /> drawings and the full set now revised and submitted reflects the change. Exterior work will remain the <br /> same. The interior work has been scaled back drastically to meet budget requirements. <br />
