Violations & EMC Sections <br /> Inspection of the propeq reveals the following conditions and violations: <br /> The International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC) is adopted by the City of Everett. <br /> Violations of the IPMC are unlawful in accordance with Section 106.1 which reads; <br /> It shall be unlawful for a person, firm or corporation to be in conflict with or in <br /> violation of any provisions of this code. <br /> This structure has not been given a final approval by the Building Division and a <br /> Certificate of Occupancy has not been issued. The presence of these conditions render <br /> this structure unlawful. This is a violation of IPMC 108.1.4 which reads; <br /> An unlawful structure is one found in whole or in part to be occupied by more <br /> persons than permitted under this code, or was erected, altered or occupied <br /> contrary to law. <br /> There is an engineered concrete block wall constructed upon the property. The <br /> presence of this wall is required in order to give the structure it's final approval. The <br /> wall was not constructed in accordance with its approved plans and it has now failed <br /> and is at risk of collapse. This is a violation of IPMC 108.1.5(5) which reads; <br /> The building or structure, or part of the building or structure, because of <br /> dilapidation, deterioration, decay, faulty construction, the removal or movement of <br /> some portion of the ground necessary for the support, or for any other reason, is <br /> likely to partially or completely collapse, or some portion of the foundation or <br /> underpinning of the building or structure is likely to fail or give way. <br /> The presence of the above listed conditions has resulted in the Code Official declaring <br /> this structure to be condemned. A placard declaring this decision has been placed <br /> upon the structure and the structure is to be vacated by December 18, 2015. Any <br /> further occupancy of the structure after that date, will subject the person(s) responsible <br /> to further possible prosecution under the EMC. <br /> There is a significant accumulation of junk, trash and assorted household items sitting <br /> in the driveway area of the property and are visible to adjacent properties. This is a <br /> violation of Everett Municipal Code 8.20.020 which reads; <br /> Everett Police Department,Code Enforcement Unit•3002 Wetmore Ave• Everett,WA 98201 •425-2.57-8560 <br />
