1 RESOLUTION NO. vim-/v7 S! <br /> 2 <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the City of Everett Administration to submit <br /> 3 proposed budget and financial data as a requirement of the <br /> application for the acquisition of the W. T. Preston. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 <br /> 6 WHEREAS, on April 28, 1982, the Everett City Council, by motion, authorized <br /> 7 the City of Everett Administration to submit an application for the acquisition of the <br /> 8 W. T. Preston to the Seattle District of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers; and <br /> 9 WHEREAS, the Corps of Engineers has set forth Criteria For the Evaluation of <br /> 10 Proposals to acquire the W. T. Preston; and <br /> 11 WHEREAS, one of said criteria requires that applicants "demonstrate the ability <br /> 12 to provide current and long-range fiscal management of the project;" <br /> 13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE EVERETT CITY COUNCIL as <br /> 14 follows: <br /> 15 1. The City of Everett Administration is authorized to submit a proposed <br /> 16 budget which is attached to this Resolution and incorporated herein by reference, for <br /> 17 the acquisition, refurbishment, maintenance and operation of the W. T. Preston for <br /> 18 purposes of fulfilling the requirements of the application process. <br /> 19 2. That allocation of monies to fulfill the fiscal budget will be authorized by <br /> 20 City ordinance utilizing revenue generated by the City's hotel-motel tax (Cultural <br /> 21 Convention Fund), should said application be granted to the City of Everett. <br /> 22 <br /> 23L <br /> 1/((C I <br /> 24 Councilman Introducing Reso tion <br /> 25 <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this "el'O day of "/ , 1982. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 <br /> 28 Council President <br /> 29 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
