RESOLUTION NO .a/ /. <br /> A RESOLUTION prohibiting parking during the <br /> 1982 Washington State International Air Fair <br /> at Paine Field , July 17-18 , 1982 <br /> WHEREAS , Chapter 46 . 08 . 050, E . C . C . , provides that the <br /> City Council may , by resolution , designate street or alley areas <br /> where parking shall be regulated , restricted , or prohibited ; and <br /> WHEREAS , the Washington State International Air Fair <br /> Board of Directors has requested a "No Parking 8 : 00 a .m . to <br /> 12 midnight " restriction for a two-day period , July 17 and 18 , 1982 <br /> in the vicinity of Paine Field ; and the Washington State Inter- <br /> national Air Fair Board of Directors will furnish , install , and <br /> remove the "No Parking " signs ; and <br /> WHEREAS , the City Council does desire to prohibit the <br /> parking of vehicles on certain streets or portions thereof during <br /> the time of the Air Show; <br /> NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF EVERETT that <br /> all vehicles be prohibited from parking in the following <br /> locations from 8 : 00 a .m . to 12 midnight on July 17 & 18, 1982. <br /> a ) 20th Ave West , both sides , from SR 526 to the Haul Rd <br /> b) Airport Rd , both sides , from the So City Limits to SR 526 <br /> c ) Casino Rd (86 St SW ) , both sides , from Airport Rd to <br /> 18th Ave W <br /> and the Chief of Police is hereby authorized to enforce <br /> these restrictions , including the authority to tow away violators <br /> if deemed necessary . <br /> ') • • <br /> Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> Passed and approved this / �/ day of May, 1982 . <br /> Council President <br />
