RESOLUTION NO.62// O <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract <br /> with The Salvation Army <br /> 1 <br /> 2 <br /> 3 <br /> 4 WHEREAS, the Human Needs Committee of the Everett City Council <br /> has ascertained that assisting The Salvation Army to feed the hungry <br /> 5 through its Food Bank is a proper function of the City of Everett, and <br /> 6 <br /> 7 WHEREAS, the Human Needs Committee, after studying all applica- <br /> tions and interviewing all applicants, has voted to recommend funding for <br /> 8 this program from the 1982 Budget allocation for Human Needs; <br /> 9 <br /> 10 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT <br /> 11 that the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with The Salvation <br /> 12 Army for the purpose above stated, and <br /> 13 <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Office of Financial <br /> 14 Management be authorized to make payment from the Revenue Sharing Fund of <br /> 15 the City, not to exceed $6,533.00, of invoices for expenses incurred for <br /> 16 the above purpose between April 1, 1982 and June 30, 1983. <br /> 17 ,✓ <br /> 18 f .G'`` LZ/ ' C <br /> Co i introducing solution <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Passed and approved this 1 day of May, 1982. <br /> 21 <br /> -71-€ <br /> 22 � Coann President <br /> 23 <br /> 24 <br /> 25 <br /> 26 <br /> 27 <br /> 28 <br /> 29 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
