RESOLUTION NO. 4.„.2/0-6 <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract <br /> with Drug Abuse Council of Snohomish County <br /> 1 <br /> 2 <br /> 3 <br /> 4 WHEREAS, the Human Needs Committee of the Everett City Council <br /> has ascertained that assisting Drug Abuse Council of Snohomish County to <br /> 5 <br /> provide drug abuse treatment sessions for Everett residents who cannot <br /> 6 otherwise afford them is a proper function of the City of Everett, and <br /> 7 <br /> WHEREAS, the Human Needs Committee, after studying all appli- <br /> 8 <br /> cations and interviewing all applicants, has voted to recommend funding <br /> 9 for this program from the 1982 Budget allocation for Human Needs; <br /> 10 <br /> 11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT <br /> 12 that the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Drug Abuse Council <br /> of Snohomish County for the purpose above stated, and <br /> 13 <br /> 14 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Office of Financial Manage- <br /> 15 ment be authorized to make payment from the Revenue Sharing Fund of the <br /> City, not to exceed $2,000.00, of invoices for expenses incurred between <br /> 16 <br /> April 1, 1982 and June 30, 1983 for the above purpose. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 ,, `�---- <br /> '; <br /> 19 ,/Cou g�1 ntroducin sol ion <br /> 20 ,,/ <br /> Passed and approved this j 9 "day of May, 1982. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 <br /> a <br /> Council President <br /> 23 <br /> 24 <br /> 25 <br /> 26 <br /> 27 <br /> 28 <br /> 29 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
