V f • RESOLUTION NO. c a 7,5- A RESOLUTION approving and accepting the location and price of the property to be used for the purpose of a joint use parking area for the Everett Senior Center and Senior Housing project; location and price of the Senior Housing project; and approving the design and plans of the Senior Housing project. WHEREAS, there exists a severe shortage of safe, sanitary, and affordable housing in the City for low-income elderly persons; and WHEREAS, the Housing Cooperation Law (Chapter 35.83 REW) authorizes the City to supply financial assistance to the Everett Housing Authority; and WHEREAS, on December 16, 1981, the City Council of the City of Everett approved an ordinance calling for a general election to determine said issue; and WHEREAS, on February 2, 1982, the qualified electors of the City voted approval on this bond issue; and WHEREAS, on March 25, 1982, the City Council of the City of Everett approved an ordinance creating a special construction fund entitled "1982 Senior Housing Construction Fund No. 353;" and WHEREAS, on April 7, 1982, the City Council of the City of Everett approved an ordinance creating a Cooperation Agreement with the Everett Housing Authority; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Everett, that: Section 1: The location and price of the property listed below is found to be appropriate and hereby approved. 1. JOINT USE PARKING AREA A. Lots 6, 7, and 8, Block 713, Everett Land Company's First Addition to the City of Everett (Meyer) $150,000. cash and $5,000. donation. B. Lot 5, Block 713, Everett Land Company's First Addition to the City of Everett (Freerk's, Templeton, etc.) $37,500. C. Southern 15 feet of Lot 4, Block 713, Everett Land Company's First Addition to the City of Everett (Snohomish County) approximately $500.
