V <br /> f <br /> • <br /> RESOLUTION NO. c a 7,5- <br /> A RESOLUTION approving and accepting <br /> the location and price of the property to <br /> be used for the purpose of a joint use <br /> parking area for the Everett Senior <br /> Center and Senior Housing project; <br /> location and price of the Senior Housing <br /> project; and approving the design and <br /> plans of the Senior Housing project. <br /> WHEREAS, there exists a severe shortage of safe, sanitary, and affordable <br /> housing in the City for low-income elderly persons; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Housing Cooperation Law (Chapter 35.83 REW) authorizes the <br /> City to supply financial assistance to the Everett Housing Authority; and <br /> WHEREAS, on December 16, 1981, the City Council of the City of Everett <br /> approved an ordinance calling for a general election to determine said issue; and <br /> WHEREAS, on February 2, 1982, the qualified electors of the City voted <br /> approval on this bond issue; and <br /> WHEREAS, on March 25, 1982, the City Council of the City of Everett approved <br /> an ordinance creating a special construction fund entitled "1982 Senior Housing <br /> Construction Fund No. 353;" and <br /> WHEREAS, on April 7, 1982, the City Council of the City of Everett approved <br /> an ordinance creating a Cooperation Agreement with the Everett Housing Authority; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Everett, <br /> that: <br /> Section 1: <br /> The location and price of the property listed below is found to be appropriate and <br /> hereby approved. <br /> 1. JOINT USE PARKING AREA <br /> A. Lots 6, 7, and 8, Block 713, Everett Land Company's First Addition to the <br /> City of Everett (Meyer) $150,000. cash and $5,000. donation. <br /> B. Lot 5, Block 713, Everett Land Company's First Addition to the City of <br /> Everett (Freerk's, Templeton, etc.) $37,500. <br /> C. Southern 15 feet of Lot 4, Block 713, Everett Land Company's First <br /> Addition to the City of Everett (Snohomish County) approximately $500. <br />
