Council approved acceptance of this agreement at the December 28,2016,Council meeting. Increase grant revenue 002 3421000000 10,000 Increase overtime 031 5260000120 10,000 Department Code Rev Exp FB GGA-2 Fire Amendment-Homeland Security Grant 032A 75,000 GGA-2 General Fund Amendment-Homeland Security Grant 002A 75,000 The U.S.Department of Homeland Security and the Washington State Military Department has allocated grant funding from the 2015 pre-disaster mitigation grant program to local jurisdictions to update their hazard mitigation plans. The City's award is$100,000,which is comprised of a 75/25 split of federal and local dollars. The match will be met by current staff wages and benefits. The department plans to partner with the University of Washington for assistance in upgrading the hazard mitigation plan with a professional services agreement to complete the project.
