The GMA also requires consistency <br /> between development regulations and the comprehensive plan. When a change in the zoning map is <br /> requested,it usually requires a change to the comprehensive plan. The docket must consider the cumulative <br /> effect of all proposals. This proposed resolution documents that the City has considered the cumulative effect <br /> when taking action on the individual proposals. <br /> The City's docket process begins every year with an application deadline of July Pt. For the 2016-2017 <br /> docket,three site-specific proposals were received and reviewed by City staff and the Planning Commission. <br /> Two proposals were recommended for approval and one for denial. In addition to the site-specific proposals, <br /> there were several textual changes affecting portions of four elements of the comprehensive plan. Both staff <br /> and the Planning Commission recommend approval of these text changes. They provide consistency with <br /> plans and policies adopted after the 2015-2035 Comprehensive Plan and Regulations Update. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Approve a Resolution declaring the 2016-17 Comprehensive Plan Annual Docket Review complete. <br /> 127 <br />
