FB <br /> GGR-2 Planning Re-approp-EPA Brownfields Grant 021R 14,305 <br /> GGR-2 General Fund Re-approp-EPA Brownfields Grant 002R 14,305 <br /> The City applied for and received a grant in 2013 from the US Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) in the amount of <br /> $400,000 to conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and cleanup/redevelopment planning at <br /> Brownfield sites located within the City. <br /> On August 28,2013,City Council authorized a request for qualifications to support various grant related activities to <br /> include community outreach,site inventory, assessment,prioritization and cleanup planning. The fiscal year 2016 agreement with the State Department of Commerce provides funding to improve the <br /> criminal justice and community response to violence against women in Snohomish County. The grant funds will be used to <br /> advance county-wide law enforcement training.
