The <br /> Examiner also imposed a penalty of$2500. The violations were not abated in accordance with the Order and <br /> pursuant to the Order of the City of Everett Code Official. The City removed discarded items from the <br /> property. The Respondent failed to pay the abatement costs and penalty, which are now past due. <br /> This resolution authorizes placement of an assessment lien on the property on or after April 19,2017, in the <br /> amount of the outstanding costs of abatement and the penalty imposed by the Examiner,which total <br /> $3,567.54. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Adopt a Resolution authorizing recovery of abatement %sts pursuant to EMC 1.20.090 at 1510 Walnut <br /> CtrPPt vverptt Wachinotnn in the amount of V_56734. <br />
