Violations included failure(s)to; vacate the residential and accessory structures on the property due <br /> to lack of required water and electrical utilities; to secure vacated structures from trespass;to remove <br /> discarded items and overgrown vegetation from the yards and to remove inoperable vehicles parked on site. <br /> The Examiner also imposed a penalty of$1000. The violations were not abated in accordance with the Order <br /> and pursuant to the Order of the City of Everett Code Official. The City secured the structures from trespass. <br /> The property owners have failed to pay the abatement costs. <br /> This resolution authorizes placement of an assessment lien on the property on or after April 19, 2017, in the <br /> amount of the outstanding costs of abatement and the penalties imposed by the Examiner,which total <br /> $2,313.01. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> A Resolution authorizing recovery of abatement costs usuant to EMC 1.20.090 at 5401 South 4th Avenue, <br /> Everett, in the amount of$2,313.01. <br />
