Sport Courts are defined as play areas for tennis,pickle <br /> ball, basketball, paddle ball, and field hockey. Parks staff monitor use and condition of all sport courts in the <br /> Parks system. This results in the establishment of priorities for renovation and repairs. Staff has determined <br /> the highest priority sport courts for renovation and court repairs in 2017 are located at Garfield Park and <br /> Edgewater Park. The requested funds will also include court repairs and re-marking to take place at other <br /> locations in the Parks system. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Adopt an Ordinance creating a special improvement project entitled "Parks Sport Courts Renovations", Fund <br /> 354, Program 053, to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. <br /> 9 <br />
