The lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Granite Construction Company, <br /> submitted a bid for$3,938,398.65. <br /> The arterial streets to be overlaid this year have been prioritized and selected on the basis of the City's <br /> Pavement Management System. The 2017 Pavement Maintenance Overlay Project includes a base bid of <br /> approximately 23,700 tons of hot-mix asphalt,utility adjustments, and all other appurtenances necessary to <br /> complete the work. <br /> The funding source for this project is: <br /> Fund 119—Street Improvements(Arterial Streets) $3,938,399 <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Award the bid for the 2017 Pavement Maintenance Overlay Project to Granite Construction Company, in the <br /> amount of$3,938,398.65 <br /> 91 <br />
