• RESOLUTION NO . G.5- A RESOLUTION restricting parking to a 1 hour limit and prohibiting parking on certain streets in the Everett Community College ( ECC ) vicinity WHEREAS , residents have requested action to remove ECC student on-street parking and reduce circulatory traffic , and WHEREAS , measures taken by ECC have not been successful ; and WHEREAS , parking studies show "full " on -street useage during weekday morning and afternoon hours ; and WHEREAS , parking surveys show 40 to 50% of the residents in favor of parking restrictions on certain streets ; and WHEREAS , the surveys show 60 to 50% not in favor ; and WHEREAS , this survey shows the same 2 to 2 response as all previous petitions , surveys , studies , and neighborhood meetings that have not resulted in any parking restriction action ; and WHEREAS , the concerns and complaints have continued to per- sist ; and WHEREAS , a trial action will allow evaluating success for those in favor and evaluating affects and concerns of those not in favor ; and WHEREAS , the Transportation Advisory Committee has recomm- ended installing the parking restrictions and evaluating them at the school year end ;
