I- RESOLUTION NO. O A RESOLUTION authorizing application for 1982 Community Development Block Grant funds to the Department of Housing and Urban Development under the Housing and Community Development Act of 1980 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett recognizes the need for certain housing and community development programs in Everett, and WHEREAS, funds have been made available through the Housing and Community Development Act of 1980 to provide for those programs and it is estimated that Everett is entitled to receive $820,000 in 1982, and WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Committee for Housing and Community De- velopment has studied the housing and community development needs and priorities of Everett and has made its recommendations for 1982 Community Development Block Grant funds, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett has reviewed the recommendations of the above Committee, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT THAT: I. PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED IN 1982: Items 1. Lowell Neighborhood $40,000.00 2. Port Gardner Neighborhood 66,900.00 3. Northeast Everett Neighborhood 66,900.00 4. CHIP-Community Housing Improvement Program 370,000.00 5. Community Development Block Grant Administration/Neighborhood Planning 116,000.00 6. CHIP Legal Services (Ferguson and Maynard) 8,500.00 7. Youth Service Corp (Snohomish County Juvenile Probation) 35,413.00 8. Minor Home Repair (Senior Services) 47,025.00 9. Stop Abuse 14,414.00 10. Rental Housing Mediation Service (Volunteers of America) 17,814.00 11. Rape Relief 14,692.00 12.
