I- <br /> RESOLUTION NO. O <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing application for 1982 Community <br /> Development Block Grant funds to the Department of <br /> Housing and Urban Development under the Housing and <br /> Community Development Act of 1980 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett recognizes the need for <br /> certain housing and community development programs in Everett, and <br /> WHEREAS, funds have been made available through the Housing and Community <br /> Development Act of 1980 to provide for those programs and it is estimated that <br /> Everett is entitled to receive $820,000 in 1982, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Committee for Housing and Community De- <br /> velopment has studied the housing and community development needs and priorities of <br /> Everett and has made its recommendations for 1982 Community Development <br /> Block Grant funds, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett has reviewed the <br /> recommendations of the above Committee, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT THAT: <br /> I. PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED IN 1982: <br /> Items <br /> 1. Lowell Neighborhood $40,000.00 <br /> 2. Port Gardner Neighborhood 66,900.00 <br /> 3. Northeast Everett Neighborhood 66,900.00 <br /> 4. CHIP-Community Housing <br /> Improvement Program 370,000.00 <br /> 5. Community Development Block Grant <br /> Administration/Neighborhood Planning 116,000.00 <br /> 6. CHIP Legal Services (Ferguson <br /> and Maynard) 8,500.00 <br /> 7. Youth Service Corp (Snohomish County <br /> Juvenile Probation) 35,413.00 <br /> 8. Minor Home Repair (Senior Services) 47,025.00 <br /> 9. Stop Abuse 14,414.00 <br /> 10. Rental Housing Mediation Service <br /> (Volunteers of America) 17,814.00 <br /> 11. Rape Relief 14,692.00 <br /> 12.
