Tf la RESOLUTION NO.,2p/4 A RESOLUTION rescinding a previously authorized Annexation petition requesting signatures of owners of seventy five (75) percent of the assessed valuation within the proposed annexation area, generally lying east of 19th Avenue SE and North of 100th Street SE. WHEREAS, On September 19, 1979, in Council Bill 796-289 the Everett { City Council did authorize circulation of an annexation petition, requesting signatures of owners of seventy-five (75) percent of the assessed valuation of all I property within proposed annexation area, described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 1 of the Plat of Tiemann Addition as per plat recorded in Volume 18 of Plats on page 71, records of Snohomish County, Washington; thence East along the North line of said plat to the Southwest corner of Lot 9 of the Plat of Eastmont Division No. 4 as per plat recorded in Volume 21 of Plats page 95, records of Snohomish County, Washington; thence North along the East edge of said plat of Eastmont Division No. 4 to the Northwest corner of Lot 1 of said Plat of Eastmont Division No. 4; thence continue North to the Northwest corner of Lot 59 of Eastmont Division No. 3 as per plat recorded in Volume 17 of Plats on pages 42 and 43, records of Snohomish County, Washington; thence East along the North line of Lots 45-59, inclusive, of said Plat of Eastmont Division No. 3 to the East right-of-way line .of 24th Avenue Southeast;thence South along said East right-of-way to the Southwest corner of Lot 44 of said Plat of Eastmont Division No. 3; thence East along the South line of said Lot 44 to the Southeast corner of said Lot 44 and the West line of the East 1/2 of the East 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 17, Township 28 North, Range 5 East, W.M.; thence South along said West line of the East 1/2 of the. East 1/2 of Section 17 to the South line of said Section 17; thence continue South to the South right-of-way line of 100th Street Southeast; thence West along said South right-of-way line of 100th Street Southeast to the East right-of-way line of the Everett-Bothell Highway; thence North along the East right-of-way line of the Everett- Bothell Highway to the Northwest corner of Lot 1 of said Plat of Tiemann Addition and the POINT OF BEGINNING. and, WHEREAS, two years have elapsed and the "75% petition" has not been I successfully circulated, and WHEREAS, a survey mailed to all property owners in the area asking if they are interested in annexation to the City of Everett resulted in an evidence that a substantial proportion of property owners oppose annexation, and I �
