RESOLUTION NO. /_77$ <br /> A RESOLUTION restricting parking to a 2 hour limit ex- <br /> cept resident vehicles displaying permits being exempt <br /> in the General Hospital vicinity. <br /> WHEREAS, ordinance number 544-78 authorizes "Permit Parking"; and <br /> WHEREAS, two parking use studies have been conducted with the first showing; and <br /> WHEREAS, a house-to-house survey of 129 homes on Monday evening, June 29, 1981 <br /> showed that 43 of the 84 residences were in favor of the "Permit Parking" re- <br /> striction; and <br /> WHEREAS, the same survey showed a 2 hour time limit restriction in effect from <br /> Monday through Saturday being favored; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Transportation Advisory Committee has reviewed the issue; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT ON STREET PARKING BE RESTRICAD WITH A TWO <br /> HOUR TIME LIMIT BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8 A.M. AND 6 P.M. FROM MONDAY THROUcE <br /> SATURDAY WITH VEHICLES DISPLAYING PERMITS OBTAINED IN ACCORD WITH THE PERMIT <br /> PARKING ORDINANCE BE EXEMPT IN THE GENERAL HOSPITAL VICINITY ON THE FOLLOWING <br /> STREETS: <br /> 1. East side of Wetmore from 12th to 13th streets <br /> 2. Both sides of Wetmore from 14th to 15th streets <br /> 3. Both sides of Colby from 12th to 13th streets <br /> 4. West side of Colby from 13th to 14th streets less southerly 120 feet <br /> 5. North side of 13th from Wetmore to Colby <br /> 6. South side of 13th from Colby to Hoyt <br /> 7.
