RESOLUTION NO. / 7,S7 <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor to execute a <br /> contract with Red Cross Adult Day Center <br /> 1 <br /> 2 <br /> 3 WHEREAS, the Human Needs Committee of the City Council has <br /> 4 ascertained that assisting the Red Cross Adult Day Center to provide a <br /> 5 part time recreation assistant, and activity supplies, to help their elderly <br /> clients maintain an independent life-style is a proper function of the <br /> 6 City of Everett, and <br /> 7 <br /> 8 WHEREAS, the Human Needs Committee has recommended funding <br /> for this program from the 1981 Budget allocation for human needs; <br /> 9 <br /> 10 <br /> 11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT <br /> that the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with the Red Cross Adult <br /> 12 <br /> Day Center for the purpose above stated, and <br /> 13 <br /> 14 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Financial Management be <br /> 15 authorized to make payment, from invoices for expenses incurred between <br /> April 1, 1981 and March 31, 1982 for the above purpose, not to exceed <br /> 16 $1,900.00, from the Revenue Sharing Fund of the City. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 <br /> 19 Cou-ncil4an introducing Res utio <br /> 20 Passed and approved this day of April , 1981. <br /> 21 <br /> zCf/O ,kP- <br /> 22 <br /> Counci P e`s�t <br /> 23 <br /> 24 <br /> 25 <br /> 26 <br /> 27 <br /> 28 <br />
