MP. <br /> RESOLUTION No. 6915 <br /> A Resolution declaring vehicles and equipment surplus and authorizing sale by public <br /> auction. <br /> Whereas, the City has two 2000 Sterling L7501 Dump Trucks (#J0044, #J0045) with <br /> Snow Plows (#N0013, #N0014) and Sanders (#N0001, #N0003); and a 1997 <br /> Chevrolet/Grumman Walk-In Van (#V0048) in its fleet; and <br /> Whereas, the above-referenced equipment is no longer of value or use to the City; and <br /> Whereas, Ordinance 2963-06 establishes a procedure and methods for surplusing or <br /> disposition of City-owned personal property; and <br /> Whereas, based on the guidelines set forth in Section 2 of Ordinance 2963-06 a public <br /> auction is the disposition method that best meets the City's interests; and <br /> Whereas, the City's purchasing manager has reported the basis for the estimated value of <br /> the surplus property and has recommended surplusing the above-referenced vehicles and <br /> equipment by public auction. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the City Council of the City of Everett: <br /> 1. The two 2000 Sterling L7501 Dump Trucks (#J0044, #J0045) with Snow Plows <br /> (#N0013, #N0014) and Sanders (#N0001, #N0003); and a 1997 Chevrolet/Grumman <br /> Walk-In Van (#V0048) are no longer of value or use to the City; and <br /> 2.
