Unpermitted second story deck <br /> I plan to remove the deck board by board. Starting at the top working down until it is safely dismantled. <br /> Then where the door to deck is I need to remove the door and jam.Then frame in a rough opening for <br /> The window. Cover 2x4 frames with plywood on exterior. Cover that with house wrap. Also window <br /> Rough open with house wrap as well. Then install vinyl double pane window. Then finally I will I lace in a <br /> patch of siding trying to match the original look of the home. <br /> That completes the outside. I then will move inside and put insulation in cavity and staple to the 2x4. <br /> Then sheetrock, mud and tape and then finish with original trim pack <br />
