All <br /> impcovements shall be completed, appcoved, and warranted before the <br /> Occvpancy Permit is issued. (SEPA Other Policies) <br /> 2. (i) Fire flow requireme�ts: The Uniform Building Code, 1988 edition, <br /> requires that all apartment houses of 3 stocies or more, or <br /> containing 16 or more dwelling units be provided an automatic <br /> spcinkler system installed in compliance with NFPA Standard 13R. <br /> In compliance to this requicement, Buildings 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 <br /> of the SEPA site plan reviewed will be cequired to be spri�klec <br /> and the fire flow for each of these buildings is 1,500 GPM. <br /> Buildinga 2 and 3 are two stocy with less than 16 dwelling unita <br /> and are not required to be sprinklered, although are highly <br /> cecortmended. If these two buildinga are not sprinklered, the <br /> fire flow requirement will consist as follows: <br /> (A) For Ty�e 5-N construction, 2,750 GPM will be required, or <br /> (B) For Tyt:e 5 1 Houc construction, 1,750 GPM will be required, <br /> (ii) A fire hydrant is required within 200 driving feet of all <br /> building having a fire flow [equirement of 1,750 GPM or lesa. If <br /> option A above is exercised foc Buildings 2 and 3, three fire <br /> hydrants are required to be available within 200 driving feet of <br /> each of those �uildings. However, if Buildinga 2 and 3 are <br /> sprinklered or built to Type 5-1 Hour construction, three (3 ) <br /> fire hydrants will be required for the entire project. Location <br /> will be contingent to the Fire Marshal's approval. <br /> (iii) Sprinkler system is required in all but Buildinga 2 and 3. <br /> (iv) Fire alarm system shall be provide as required in Article 14 of <br /> the Uniform Fire Code, 1988 edition. <br /> (v) Portable Fire Protection - a minimum UL rated 2A.10 B.C, portable <br /> fire extinguisher must be provided within 75 feet travel distance <br /> of all combustible construction, also within 75 feet travel <br /> distance of all apartments prior to occupancy.
