RESOLUTION# <br /> A RESOLUTION establishing <br /> Human Needs Priorities for 20165 Grant Funding <br /> WHEREAS,the mission of the Human Needs Advisory Committee is to annually review <br /> the human needs in the City of Everett,to prioritize those needs, and to allocate funds to most <br /> benefit those needs; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Human Needs Advisory Committee met on November'1, 2014October <br /> 14, 2015, to review and recommend priorities for 20165; and <br /> WHEREAS ,additional Human Needs funding may be made available in 2016 to target <br /> needs highlighted by the Everett Community Streets Initiative; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Human Needs Advisory Committee is recommending recommends <br /> including needs highlighted by the Everett Community Streets Initiative recommendatio to <br /> include drug and alcohol treatment in the priorities for Human Needs Grant funding; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Human Needs Advisory Committee has recommended the following list <br /> of human needs priorities for 20165 funding to qualified programs inside the City of Everett:. <br /> 1. YOUTH <br /> a) Housing and Food Assistance <br /> b) Health Services (i.e. Medical, Dental, Mental Health and Drug/Alcohol Treatment) <br /> c) Counseling/Guidance/Legal Services <br /> d) Abuse/Neglect <br /> • e) Violence/Delinquency Prevention <br /> 2. ELDERLYa) Housing and Food Assistance <br /> b) Health Services (i.e. Medical, Dental, Mental Health and Drug/Alcohol Treatment) <br /> c) Counseling/Guidance/Legal Services <br /> d) Abuse/Neglect <br /> I PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES AND/OR BARRIERS <br /> a) Housing and Food Assistance <br /> b) Health Services (i.e. Medical, Dental, Mental Health and Drug/Alcohol Treatment) <br /> c) Counseling/Guidance/Legal Services <br /> d) Employment Support <br /> e) Abuse/Neglect <br /> and <br /> 20 <br />
