RESOLUTION NO. iF j3 <br /> - A RESOLUTION establishing a 30 mile per hour <br /> speed limit on the Maple Heights Bridge. <br /> WHEREAS, on August 22, 1979, the City Council passed Resolution No. 1688 <br /> establishing speed limits of 15 miles per hour for passenger vehicles and 10 miles <br /> per hour for trucks on the Maple Heights Bridge; and <br /> WHEREAS, the construction on the Maple Heights Bridge is now substantially <br /> completed; and <br /> WHEREAS, the load capacity of the bridge is no longer reduced; and <br /> WHEREAS, the speed limit is 30 miles per hour on either side of the bridge; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 4(D), paragraph 2, of Ordinance 459-77 provides that the <br /> City Council may regulate the speed of motor vehicles; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, in compliance with said ordinance, do desire to <br /> establish speed limits of motor vehicles on certain streets in the City of Everett; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT THAT: <br /> A speed limit of 30 miles per hour for vehicles be re-established on the <br /> Maple Heights Bridge. <br /> _.-- — �: .may <br /> Councilman Introducing Reso ion <br /> Passed and approved this (cf day ofcpm , 1981. <br /> 7-.- 0 ,.„ <br /> \ A- -f-LI (71-1-4-C-7 <br /> .o veil Pr dent <br /> 1 <br />
