r ... 4 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION RESOLUTION NO. f m Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Everett, Washington: SECTION 1: That it is the intention of the City Council to order the improvement of: 1. South Broadway, 3rd Avenue S.E. to I-5, by the construction of an 82-foot wide street improvement, curb and gutter, sidewalks, four traffic signals located at the intersections of South Broadway with 7th Avenue, South Broadway with the P.U.D. Right-of-Way, South Broadway with the Central Mall Entrance and South Broadway with the North Mall Entrance, all transitions and work necessary for a complete street improvement; and 2. South Broadway, 7th Avenue S.E. to approximately 1300 feet east on the south side, by the replacement of an existing 4-inch steel water main with a 6-inch ductile iron water main, fire hydrants and appurtenances and work necessary for a complete improvement; and 3. South Broadway, approximately 400 feet and 700 feet West of 7th Ave. S.E, by the installation of a new bored or jacked water main connection from the 12" water main on the South side of South Broadway to the North side of South Broadway, including 12-inch and 6-inch ductile iron water main, fire hydrants and appurtenances and work necessary for a complete improvement; and 4. 7th Avenue S. E. from approximately 300 feet south of South Broadway to approximately 300 feet north of South Broadway by the construction of a 44-foot wide street improvement, curb and gutter, sidewalks, and appurtenances and all transitions and work necessary for a complete street improvement; and 5. South Broadway, from approximately 330 feet west of the N/S center section line of Section 18, T. 28N, R. 5 E.W.M., east approximately 700 feet on the north a ide by the new installation of a 12-inch ductile iron water main, fire hydrants and appurtenances and work necessary for a complete improvement. SECTION II: That all persons who may desire to object thereto are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City Council to be held in the City of Everett Council Chambers at 8:30 a.m., on the 14th day of January 1981. Said time and place is hereby fixed for hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improvement and all objections thereto and for determining the method of payment for the improvement. SECTION III. That the City Engineer shall submit to the City Council at, or prior to, said date all data and information required by law to be submitted. SECTION IV: The cost and expense of such improvement shall be borne and assessed against the property liable therefore in accordance with the special benefits derived without regard to the zone and termini method of spreading assessments.
