RESOLUTION NO. 1885 A RESOLUTION extending the deadline given by City Council in Resolution Number 1665 to the Citizen' s Study Committee on Growth Management for delivery of its report, and establishing the relationship of the Committee and the Everett Planning Commission for the develop- ment of implementing legislation and programs . WHEREAS, on July 3, 1979, the Everett City Council did create the Citizen' s Study Committee on Growth Management; and WHEREAS, the City Council established a deadline of December 31 1980, for the Committee to complete its work and submit a report to the City Council, and WHEREAS, there is a need to obtain public input on the Commit- tee ' s draft report, and WHEREAS, the work of the Committee should be coordinated with the Everett Planning Commission, and WHEREAS, the Committee will not have completed its report by December 31, 1980, and WHEREAS , the Growth Management Goals and Policies adopted by City Council will require further public input and guidance during the development of implementing plans, programs and legislation, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that: 1. The deadline for the delivery of the report from the Citizen' s Study Committee to the City Council shall be extended to April 30, 1981. 2. The City of Everett Planning Commission shall review the Committee' s report and shall advise the Committee, and may submit comments to the City Council . 3. The Planning Commission shall make recommendations to City Council on plans, programs, and legislation to implenent the Growth Management Goals and Policies adopted by City Council . 4 .
