RESOLUTION NO. /e. / <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor to accept Snohomish County's <br /> proposal to use Bonus Block Grant Funds <br /> WHEREAS, the Puget Sound Council of Governments has tentatively set aside <br /> $14,500 of Bonus Block funds for the City of Everett and Snohomish County for <br /> a project which will increase housing opportunities and information within Snohomish <br /> County, and <br /> WHEREAS, Everett's 1979 Housing Assistance Plan shows that there is a con <br /> centration of low-income families, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to the provision of decent, safe <br /> and sanitary housing for all of its citizens, and <br /> WHEREAS, there is currently no program which provides a comprehensive <br /> county-wide housing information and referral program, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett will comply with the certifications described <br /> in CFR 570.307, except 307(d) which is excepted by the Rules and Regulations printed <br /> in the Federal Register Vol. 43, No. 149 - Wednesday, August 2, 1978. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT, THAT: <br /> 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to contact Snohomish <br /> County to inform them the City of Everett supports the <br /> attached application for a comprehensive county-wide <br /> housing information and referral program. <br /> 2.
