• . A RESOLUTION NO. f Ar7so A RESOLUTION for proposed vacation of a portion of Broadway Cutoff lying North of SR526 and West of I-5. WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the front footage of: All that portion of Broadway Cutoff lying within Sections 7, 8, 17, and 18, Township 28 N, R. 5 E.W.M. , described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of Section 17, Township 28 N, Range 5 E.W.M. ; thence South 89°59'30" East along the North line of said Section 17 a distance of 64.65 feet to the Easterly right-of-way line of State Highway 2-J, the true point of beginning, thence Northeasterly along the Easterly right-of-way line of said Highway 2-J a distance of 351.68 feet; thence South 19°45'46" West a distance of 563.53 feet to the Westerly right-of-way line of said Highway 2-J; thence South 0°22' East a distance of 123.68 feet to the Northerly right-of-way line of SR526; thence -along the arc of a curve to the left having a radius of 300.0 feet an arc length of 83.03 feet to the Easterly right- of-way line of State Highway 2-J; thence Northeasterly along the Easterly right-of-way line of State Highway 2-J to the true point of beginning. have petitioned for vacation of said right-of-way; and WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79.010 provides that the City Council shall by resolution fix a date for a public hearing on said petition; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF EVERETT that a public hearing be set for 8:30 a.m. , on October 22, 1980, in the City Council Chambers to consider the proposed vacation of a portion of aforesaid right-of-way as herein described.
