1 RESOLUTION NO. /7,1 <br /> 2 <br /> A RESOLUTION setting forth the fee schedule for <br /> 3 use of the swimming pool at Forest Park. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council is the legislative body of the City of Everett <br /> 6 <br /> with the power, authority, and duty to set general policies of the City; and <br /> 7 <br /> WHEREAS, it is sound fiscal policy to set certain fees for the use of the <br /> 8 <br /> swimming pool at Forest Park; and <br /> 9 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that specific fees are necessary and <br /> 10 <br /> appropriate to defer a portion of the funds expended for the operation of the Forest <br /> 11 <br /> Park Swimming Pool; and <br /> 12 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the fee schedule hereinbelow <br /> 13 <br /> specified is compatible with the fees charged for similar activities in similar <br /> 14 <br /> facilities: <br /> 15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> 16 <br /> CITY OF EVERETT that the fee schedule for the use of the Forest Park Swimming <br /> 17 Pool be as follows: <br /> 18 1. General Admission Fee: <br /> 19 Youth (17 & Under) $ .75 <br /> 20 Adult (18 - 61) $1.00 <br /> Seniors (62 & Over) $ .75 <br /> 21 Family $2.00 <br /> 22 The above fees are for a 1-1/2 hour session. <br /> 23 2. Discount Fees: <br /> 24 The following fees are for a 10-swim discount card: <br /> 25 Youth & Seniors $5.00 <br /> Adult $8.00 <br /> 26 Seniors $5.00 <br /> Family $15.00 <br /> 27 <br /> 28 3. Swim Instruction: <br /> 29 All Levels $1.25 per 1/2 hour lesson <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
