7cc> <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the selection <br /> of a Transportation Engineering Consultant <br /> to perform the "P-50 Planning Study" <br /> authorized by WSDOT. <br /> WHEREAS, the Washington State Department of Tran- <br /> sportation (WSDOT) has appropriated $15 , 000 of 82 . 98% <br /> matching funds to complete a report inventorying specific <br /> projects to improve the safety, capacity and energy use on <br /> existing Federal Aid roads and streets; and <br /> WHEREAS, the information will be useful in preparation <br /> of our TIP and future prospectus for Federally funded tran- <br /> sportation safety, capacity, and energy improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS, improvement projects constructed with FHWA <br /> or UAB funds on a Statewide competitive basis will be selected <br /> with consideration of the Statewide P-50 study results; and <br /> WHEREAS, the study requirement for eligible funding <br /> reimbursement is completion of the report by December, 1980; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE TRAFFIC <br /> ENGINEER PROCEED WITH THE P-50 STUDY INCLUDING CONSULTANT <br /> SELECTION AND RESPONSIBILITY OF STUDY COMPLETION. <br /> 0:0220151 i"et( <br /> C: nc lman Int ..':""°ng Resoluti <br /> 1 <br /> Passed and Approved this /6 day of April, 1980 <br /> Co /✓ Pr sndent <br />
