Gig g-o 3- // <br /> • • r <br /> RESOLUTION NO. / 764) <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor to execute a <br /> contract with Hospice of Snohomish County <br /> WHEREAS, the Human Needs Committee of the City Council has <br /> ascertained that assisting Hospice of Snohomish County with its program <br /> to provide care for terminally ill persons and their families prior to <br /> and during the bereavement period is a proper function of the City of <br /> Everett, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Human Needs Committee has recommended funding <br /> for this program from the 1980 Budget allocation for human needs; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF EVERETT that the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract <br /> with Hospice of Snohomish County for the purpose above stated as it applies <br /> to residents of the City, and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Budget & Finance Director be <br /> authorized to make payment from invoices for expenses incurred between <br /> April 1, 1980 and June 30, 1981 for the above purpose, not to exceed <br /> $4, 000. 00, from the Revenue Sharing Fund of the City. <br /> Sj/iffrif <br /> Councilman introducing Resolution <br /> Passed and approved this i',97; day of March, 1980. <br /> OAdeo,A. <br /> C. •`• Pr s. dent <br />
