The goal of the Snohomish County Interagency Child Abduction Response Team <br /> (ICART)is to quickly and effectively locate and recover a child unharmed who has been abducted, or who <br /> is missing under suspicious circumstances,by utilizing a team of pre-identified resources and personnel <br /> with prior training and/or experience related to child abductions. <br /> ICART will follow a protocol that is consistent with the standards established in the United States <br /> Department of Justice AMBER Alert CART Certification Manual, and will pursue national certification <br /> once operational. This agreement is for the period of June 1,2017 through May 31,2018, and will <br /> automatically renew on June 1 of each subsequent year unless otherwise terminated or modified by <br /> amendment. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the agreement establishing the Snohomish County Interagency Child Abduction <br /> Response Team at no cost to the City. <br /> 47 <br />
