2 <br /> SNOHOMISH HEALTHY YOUTH <br /> HEALTH DISTRICT YOUTH 1 <br /> it& WWW.SNOHD.ORG SURVEY 6 <br /> YOUTH DRUG USE: WHAT WE CAN DO <br /> Washington State PARENTS <br /> Healthy Youth • Partnership for a Drug-Free America recommends parents look out for <br /> Survey Facts potential signs of drug use, like a loss of interest in hobbies, the <br /> disappearance of money or valuables, and changes in mood or <br /> appearance. <br /> • Questions ask • Safely dispose of any prescription medication as soon as possible. Check <br /> about risk for injury, your local pharmacy or fire and police departments for medication <br /> health behaviors disposal events. Expired or unused medication should not be flushed <br /> and outcomes, down a toilet or thrown out. <br /> alcohol and drug • If you do suspect any illegal drug use, remain calm and not <br /> use confrontational. Get your child the help they need. <br /> • Results are used by SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY GROUPS <br /> communities to <br /> • Most teens overestimate how many of their peers drink and use illicit <br /> support youth and drugs when the majority of teens are not using.
