Staff recommends awarding to Creative <br /> Bus Sales for the StarTrans Senator II van as the lowest, most responsive bidder. The bid allows the option to <br /> purchase a fourth van at the same price of$88,017 each within a year. <br /> Transit received a $254,732.00 Federal Transit Administration grant for this project,which is reflected in the <br /> Amount Budgeted box above, and will fund the remaining$9,319 with local funds. Paratransit vans are <br /> exempt from Washington State sales tax. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Award Bid 2017-015 for purchase of three paratransitivns to Creative Bus Sales in the amount of <br /> $264,051.00. <br />
