5 ,111 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project <br /> entitled"Grand Avenue Park Pedestrian Bridge" Fund 303, <br /> Program 103, and repealing Ordinance No. 3413-14 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned public amenities and parks <br /> - improvement program; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett has identified the need and received approval for the utilization <br /> of Federal funds to design and construct a pedestrian bridge from Grand Avenue Park to Everett <br /> waterfront; and <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> • <br /> A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 103, entitled"Grand <br /> Avenue Park Pedestrian Bridge" to accumulate all costs for the project and repealing Ordinance <br /> No. 3413-14. <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, <br /> Program 103, for all expenses of the improvement project. <br /> Section 3: <br /> Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director", under direction of the Mayor, <br /> to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to <br /> accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: <br /> The sum of$5,340,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 103, "Grand Avenue Park <br /> Pedestrian Bridge"as follows: , <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Design and Right-of-Way $ 600,000 <br /> Construction 4,740,000 <br /> Total Estimated Cost $ 5,340,000 <br /> B. Source of Funds <br /> 26 <br />
