Officer Wathen said that, "dirt on a fence is a civil
matter." I don't think she realized what I meant, and didn't realize the gravity of the situation. She did tell me that she'd send an
e-mail over to the permit department, but I'm not sure if she did.
My daughter called me just a few minutes ago and told me that the fence has now started to fail. I think this will be a very
serious matter, when the fence fails and the tons of dirt behind it starts to come down the slope, coming through our yard, the
houses below us,and filling up the catch basins in the storm drains at the bottom of the driveway.
I don't know what to do!
Can he be made to remove that dirt, since he's obviously supposed to have permits and a real retaining wall?
I've attached a couple of photos. Can you please help us?
Thank you very much.
Denys Williams
Confidentiality Notification:All messages, including attachments, sent from this address are for business purposes only and
should be considered to be confidential and privileged information intended for the sole use of the designated recipient(s).Any
unauthorized forwarding or distribution of this information, without consent is prohibited.
