CITY OF EVERETT PUBLIC WORKS 00 31 00 <br /> SPECIAL PROVISIONS AVAILABLE PROJECT INFORMATION <br /> ' DOCUMENT 00 31 00 -AVAILABLE PROJECT INFORMATION <br /> 1 1.1 SUMMARY <br /> A. Available Project information has been furnished by Owner for use in designing this Project. <br /> 1 1. Each Bidder shall be fully familiar with available Project information, which has been <br /> prepared for Owner by separate consultants. <br /> 2. Available Project information is offered solely for reference and shall not be considered <br /> part of the Contract Documents. <br /> 3. Data contained in Documents prepared by Owner's separate consultants is believed to be <br /> reliable;however, Owner and Engineer do not guarantee their accuracy or completeness. <br /> 4. In preparing their Bids, Bidders shall consider and evaluate data contained in available <br /> Project information as well as Contract Documents prepared by Engineer. <br /> 1 1.2 SUBSURFACE INVESTIGATION REPORT <br /> A. A copy of a geotechnical report is included as an attachment to this Document, titled <br /> Geotechnical Engineering Evaluation, dated October 7, 2016, and prepared by Aspect <br /> Consulting. <br /> B. A copy of an additional geotechnical memorandum is included as an attachment to this <br /> Document,titled Geotechnical Findings for City of Everett Valve Replacement, dated August 9, <br /> 1999, and prepared by CH2MHi11. <br /> 1. This report was used to identify properties of below grade conditions for the valve <br /> replacement project completed in 2000,which is adjacent this project. <br /> C. The Aspect Consulting report identifies properties of below-grade conditions and offers <br /> recommendations for design of foundations,primarily for use of Engineer. <br /> rD. Recommendations described in report are not requirements of Contract unless specifically <br /> referenced in Contract Documents. <br /> ' E. Unforeseen Conditions: <br /> 1. This report,by its nature,cannot reveal every condition existing on Site. <br /> ' 2. Should subsurface conditions be found to vary substantially from this report, changes in <br /> design and construction of foundations will be made, with resulting changes to Contract <br /> Price and/or Contract Time. <br /> 1.3 RECORD DRAWINGS <br /> A. Copies of Record Drawings of the 2000 project designed by CH2MHill installing a buried vault <br /> to encompass an existing 36" control valve are available for viewing at office of Owner, and is <br /> identified as follows: <br /> ' 1.
