CITY OF EVERETT PUBLIC WORKS 00 72 13 <br /> SPECIAL PROVISIONS GENERAL CONDITIONS <br /> ' E. At the time of subcontract execution, the Contractor must verify that each of its first tier <br /> subcontracts meets the following bidder responsibility criteria: <br /> 1. At the time of subcontract Bid Submittal, have a certificate of registration in compliance <br /> with Chapter 18.27 RCW; <br /> 2. Have a current state unified business identifier number; <br /> 3. If applicable, have: <br /> a. Industrial insurance coverage for the Subcontractor's employees working in <br /> Washington as required in Title 51 RCW; <br /> b. An employment security department number as required in Title 50 RCW' <br /> c. A state excise tax registration number as required in Title 82 RCW; <br /> d. An electrical contractor license,if required by Chapter 19.28 RCW; <br /> e. An elevator contractor license, if required by Chapter 70.87 RCW. <br /> ' 4. Not be disqualified from bidding on any public works contract under RCW 39.06.010 or <br /> 39.12.065(3). <br /> ' 5. If bidding on a public works project subject to the apprenticeship utilization requirements in <br /> RCW 39.04.320, not have been found out of compliance by the Washington state <br /> apprenticeship and training council for working apprentices out of ratio, without appropriate <br /> supervision, or outside their approved work processes as outlined in their standards of <br /> apprenticeship under chapter 49.04 RCW for the one-year period immediately preceding the <br /> date of the bid solicitation;and <br /> F. The Contract Documents shall apply to Subcontractors and Suppliers as if each had signed the <br /> Contract with the Owner. Contractor shall include the provisions of these Contract Documents or <br /> a'`flow down"clause in each contract with Subcontractors and Suppliers. <br /> 4.4 Responsibilities <br /> A. Subcontractors,Manufacturers and Suppliers <br /> ' 1. The Contractor shall be responsible for the adequacy, efficiency and sufficiency of <br /> Subcontractors, manufacturers, Suppliers and their employees. <br /> 4.5 Contractor's Employees <br /> A. The Contractor shall be responsible for the adequacy, efficiency and sufficiency of its employees. <br /> Workers shall have sufficient knowledge, skill and experience to perform properly the Work <br /> assigned to them. <br /> 4.6 Payment for Labor and Materials <br /> A. The Contractor shall pay and require its Subcontractors to pay any and all accounts for labor <br /> including Worker's Compensation premiums, State Unemployment and Federal Social Security <br /> payments and other wage and salary deductions required by law. The Contractor also shall pay <br /> and cause its Subcontractors to pay any and all accounts for services, Equipment, and materials <br /> ' used by him and its Subcontractors during the performance of Work under this Contract. The <br /> Contractor shall pay such accounts as they become due and payable.
