The 90,450 square foot building would be used <br /> for Public Works Operations office staff who currently are located in the Cedar Street Service Center <br /> Complex. <br /> The proposed purchase price in the agreement is a placeholder amount of$8.5 million subject to being <br /> adjusted based on the City's due-diligence and continued interest. The City would be able to terminate the <br /> agreement at any time during feasibility at no cost to the City other than actual expenditures incurred for <br /> the feasibility review. These expenditures would likely include feasibility analysis of items such as <br /> building and mechanical systems,use of existing space and reconfiguration alternatives, <br /> transitioning/moving costs from the existing site to the proposed site and parking issues. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the Purchase and Sale Agreement with Snohomish County Health District,in <br /> substantially the form as attached, and take all other actions necessary for the acquisition of property located <br /> at 3020 Rucker Avenue. <br /> 63 <br />
