By selecting the DLR Group,Public Works will be able to expedite the study and reduce costs due to previous space planning efforts by the DLR Group. The due diligence study includes,two space planning options,phasing of occupancy to accommodate existing tenants, cost estimates for tenant improvements,evaluations and recommendations for the existing building envelope and building systems, and cost estimates for recommended building improvements. The study shall be completed by 90 days form the Mayor's signature to allow the City time to review the information prior to the end date of the purchase and sales agreement. RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign the Professional Services Agreement with the DLR Group for the Public Works Rucker Building Study in the amount of$69,760. 75
