q <br /> ORDINANCE NO. _ <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, <br /> "Complete Streets 2017,"Fund 303,Program 110,to accumulate <br /> all costs for the improvement. <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett is committed to a planned pedestrian and bicycle safety <br /> program; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett has identified the need and obtained funds to construct.certain <br /> pedestrian and bicycle safety improvements; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303,Program 110, entitled <br /> "Complete Streets 2017,"to accumulate all costs for the improvement. <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, <br /> Program 110,for the improvement project. <br /> Section 3: <br /> Authorization is hereby granted for the"Public Works Director" or"City Engineer,"under <br /> direction of the Mayor,to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and <br /> doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: <br /> The sum of$300,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303,Program 110,"Complete Streets <br /> 2017,"as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Design and Construction $ 300,000 <br /> Total Estimated Cost $ 300,000 <br /> B. Source of Funds <br /> TIB Grant-#C-P-138(001)-1 $250,000 <br /> Fund 119—Street Improvements 50,000 <br /> 92 <br />
